Great food and exceptional wine are just the beginning at the D’Vine Festival — a weekend packed with flavour, flair, and a whole lot of fun in the heart of the Hunter Valley.

Picture vibrant cellar doors, unforgettable food and wine experiences, live music, sweeping vineyard views, and a buzzing festival vibe. The Festival is full of experiences ONLY available one weekend a year! 2026 will be bringing you a theme of 'Meet your Makers' where we'll bring you closer to the stories behind the food and wine you love.

We’re hosting our friends at Cedar Creek Wombat Rescue at our cellar door and you’ll have the rare opportunity to get up close a meet a real living wombat & capture the memory with a photo op!

Your ticket entitles you to a tasting of the finest Wombat Crossing Vineyard wines, an encounter & photo op with a wombat, and gives you the feel-good satisfaction of knowing you’re helping raise funds for a good cause with $20 from each ticket going towards funding the rescue and rehabilitation of wombats at Cedar Creek Wombat Rescue.

Please Note:

As Cedar Creek Wombat Rescue are a working volunteer organisation plans may change at short notice if there are any wombats needing emergency assistance, in such case a full refund will be available for ticket holders.

These wombats are live animals, they may have to be removed for a time if overwhelmed, which can potentially affect photo opportunities.

As this event is a part of the D'Vine Food & Wine Festival, all attendees must be registered for the festival to be able to attend this event.

Indulge in a gourmet 4-course degustation, expertly wine-matched with a selection of the finest wines from Around Hermitage winemakers, and meet the people behind the wine and the food. The 4 wineries presenting on the night are Glandore Estate Wines, Latitude 32 Wines, Wombat Crossing Vineyard and Piggs Peake Winery. Each of the wineries have carefully selected wines to match each of the courses created by Chef Thomas.

Hear the stories of what inspired the menu and what it takes to get these handmade Hunter Valley delicacies to your plate and the delicious wines into your glass.

This is a unique event specially curated for the D'Vine Weekend.

Our 21st Vintage is now complete and looking great. And our Semillon Block has turned 30. Yep, 30 years old. A 30-year-old vine is considered a mature producer that offers a "wow" factor in wine complexity, transitioning into the "old vine" category. Our Shiraz Block will turn 30 in 2027, with our Chardonnay Block still a spritely 23 years old.

The date is Saturday 24th October 2026. $185 per person

The celebration will begin with canapes on arrival at Restaurant Botanica served with our 2024 Sparkling Chardonnay. This will be followed by a 3 course lunch exclusively created by the Chef to match our wines being served. Following lunch we can all wander over to the Wombat Crossing Vineyard Cellar Door to enjoy cheese, and maybe some more wine.

We are hoping to persuade (subject to their busy schedule) Roz and Kev from Cedar Creek Wombat Rescue & Hospital to join us after lunch with a wombat joey for photo opportunities!

We will also drag out from the Cellar a selection of some great back vintages as well as some of our yet to be released wines. It's always a wonderful day so don't miss out. Thankfully we have managed to retain the same price as last year.
